Where will you find us?
Unger Fabrikker AS is based in the city of Fredrikstad, maybe best known for its old, fortified city. It is a thriving summer town found on the southeastern side of the Oslofjord. Unger is part of the rich industrial history of the city, having been here for more than 100 years. It is here that all our dedicated employees have their center of operations to produce our Pure Nordic Quality anionic surfactants.
Being a world leader in anionic surfactants, means that we operate globally, visit our customers, partners, and distributors, as well as take part in conferences, conventions, and congresses around the world. Below is a summary of some of our highlights from the last 12 months:
SEPAWA Congress, Berlin, 15-17.10.2025
Each October in Berlin, we can be found with a booth at the SEPAWA Congress, which for the last few years has been held at the Estrel Congress Center (ECC). For our sales team, members from our R&D and other parts of the Unger team this as a must-attend event, and a highlight of our commercial calendar, focusing on innovation and our core business.
American Cleaning Institute (ACI) Annual Meeting & Industry Convention
ACI Annual Meeting & Industry Convention, Henkel Awards, 27.01.2025
The ACI Convention is one of the industry’s premiere events for business-to-business networking. This year it was hosted at the wonderful sunny city of Orlando. We at Unger are always present and it was also at this year’s event that Unger was awarded the Sustainability Award of the Year by Henkel.
Cleaning Products Europe, Prague, 01-02.04.2025
This conference is hosted each year at different venues in Europe, with this year in Prague. This event is prioritized by Unger as we sponsor the event and are members of the advisory board. This conference is a perfect fit for our field of expertise, and Unger usually attends with both our commercial and R&D teams, with this year being no different.
Global Gypsum Conference, Exhibition & Awards
Global Gypsum Conference, Exhibition & Awards, Amsterdam, 22-23.10.2025
Unger delivers a wide range of anionic surfactants and has a solid standing within the gypsum industry as producers of foaming agents. You can always find us with an “Unger Booth” at each European held Global Gypsum Conference, with this year being held in Amsterdam. Our technical and commercial team are always eager to show you why Unger is a valuable supplier of foaming agents to the gypsum industry.
